Hi guys. I'm finally back at work after coming back from Taiwan
( yes, i'm trying my best to update that post).
Chinese New Year had passed too. Just when I thought it would get duller and less merry
with more relatives leaving us, the family unit just seem to grow stronger I guess. Hopefully
it will remain that way too. I've already one less house to visit already, but that just means
we'll stay longer at others instead right?
The office has been also quite lively lately, during the festive periods. 10 plus middle aged
adults shamelessly marched into the General Manager's office to 拜年 and to give him
mandarin oranges in exchange for their Hongbaos. All that happened right in front of me
too, since my desk faces his office. Too bad temp. staff don't get any red packets.
Work has never ever been so boring. Now, I find the past me for being absolutely ridiculous
for wanting my own desk, my own phone with my family portrait on it. What I do everyday
is so routined and I hate it. I mean I can accept it if what I did yesterday and the day before
is slightly different, but the only difference is really what I ate for dinner and probably how
many times I went to the toilet. I can't even imagine doing this job on a permanent basis
even though the pay is very reasonable. Justified for the boredom you have to go through
everyday that is. Ms Huang, my chem teacher is still taking ages to get back to me with
details of my new job ( hopefully they still need me) and my boss is on holiday, I can't
even tell her I'm quitting. *After paying for my Taiwan trip and my SNSD concert with my
pay, I'm also not sure what I'm left with too..
Lastly, dinner was settled with Qinhui and Darren yesterday. I cant believe we acted like
primary school kids. Oh well, at least it was fun, haha!
